Nordic Anglers – Scandinavia's largest retailer of fly tying equipment – came to DVISIONMEDIA with a classic e-commerce challenge: They were running Meta and Google Ads, but struggled to make it profitable. The focus had been on revenue volume, but when the numbers were tallied, the bottom line wasn't positive.

Our first measure was to implement ProfitMetrics, so we could measure what really matters: profit, not just revenue. We set up tracking of POAS, CAC and MER across all channels. One of the biggest insights was that several campaigns were generating revenue but eating profit due to high CAC on saturated audiences.
The fly fishing market is extremely seasonal. Fly tying performs in winter, spinning gear in summer, and sea trout fishing in autumn. We continuously adapted our creative output and catalog focus, always hitting the right segment at the right time with the right message.
We built a full-funnel approach with Meta as the primary conversion driver, Google Ads for brand and shopping searches, and prepared expansion to TikTok and YouTube to raise the scaling ceiling and attract completely new customer segments.
