KarlsKicks – one of Denmark's most prominent sneaker brands with both culture and community behind it – came to DVISIONMEDIA with a clear challenge: e-commerce had become a pain point. The bottom line was in the red, and the previous strategy had run out of steam. It was time for a fresh start.

One of the biggest changes was the approach to content. Instead of fighting for attention with price war ads and DPAs all around, we put Karl – a well-known face in the sneaker industry – at the front of the videos. He appeared alongside YouTube and TikTok creators to create content with a completely different level of authenticity and authority.
Before we scaled, we addressed the foundation. We optimized the Shopify setup with a focus on product templates, inventory management and integrations. Structural challenges like these can eat profit if not resolved, so we prioritized getting everything in order before scaling.
We implemented a custom label structure with a focus on two price segments: 500-1,800 DKK and 1,800+ DKK. These two segments accounted for 91.5% of Google Ads revenue. With an inventory primarily bought on pre-order, it was crucial to protect margins on high-ticket items.
